controlling urges

Have you ever just been sitting there bored and suddenly you want 2 mcChickens and some ice cream? i know i have been there, (many many times) i use to just give in all the time to these urges, i never knew how to stop myself. then i talked to my friend about it and she said when she gets an urge she just goes and try's on her goal jeans and when they dint fit she realizes she cant have those nasty things.

Now at first i laughed, how can trying on jeans that you know aren't going to fit help you not want to eat? i actually thought it would have the opposite effect, you go to try them on realize how far away you are from your goal then you go and eat a whole store!! (HAHA). at least that's what i though would happen. she really wanted me to try this so i told her i would.

So why not? so when i starting getting urges (like a couple hours after that haha) i went into the bathroom and tried on my goal jeans, at first it made me cry like come on now how could i be this far off... why would this world be so cruel to me? come on now i'm awesome!! but it started to help. i wanted to try them on and they fall off!! i wanted to be able to tell people my pants were falling off!! we will get there together it is starting to help me. maybe it will help you.?
